“It must have been a ghost!”
“A ghost??”

This Just Might Be My Favorite Gambit Cosplay, Ever
I had no idea that a gender-swapped Gambit would be such an awesome cosplay. So regardless of gender, Gambit’s always got sick abs I guess.
She was absolutely gorgeous in person. This photo almost doesn’t do her justice.

There’s a man called the doctor. He lives on a cloud in the sky and all he does, all day, every day, is to stop all the children in the world ever having bad dreams

Teen’s invention could charge your phone in 20 seconds
(Photo: Intel)
Waiting hours for a cellphone to charge may become a thing of the past, thanks to an 18-year-old high-school student’s invention. She won a $50,000 prize Friday at an international science fair for creating an energy storage device that can be fully juiced in 20 to 30 seconds.
Everybody, remember this face.
Remember this name.
If this becomes a commonly used & highly lauded discovery, at some point a White guy is going to take credit, even if he has to word it like “Improved upon a previous…”
No no no
Fuck that guy.
Remember this brown girl.

“Kia Speaks
This picture of Morehouse graduates drenched in rain yesterday has surprisingly caused quite a stir. Many are saying it’s indicative of Morehouse not having the money or common decency to implement a rain plan. If you see that when you look at this picture, I’m going to politely take the liberty to call you a cynic. To me this picture symbolizes the journey that so many black men endure everyday of their lives as they face countless obstacles yet continue to pursue success with unwavering determination. It is cynical to ignore the fortitude and thirst for knowledge in these men’s eyes for an opportunity to knock/shade/read Morehouse. Rain can’t stop the House, & life’s obstacles won’t stop these men.
FYI: Grads from major universities are soaked like this all the time with no controversy.”
Yep. I watched friends graduate in 2006 at UC Berkeley in torrential rain soooo…..
CONGRATS.
So…why haven’t I seen the whole fandom talking about this?

hey guys i gotta say like
if you’re white and you’re saying “nigga” to be funny or ironic, you lose a lot of respect from me. i cringe when i see it.
a race reclaiming a racial slur and using it themselves is one thing - but you can’t reclaim something if it doesn’t belong to you, especially when it was used by your race to oppress another one. certainly you are not responsible for what your ancestors did, but you are responsible for what you do and say now.
i’m sure your intentions aren’t racist and you’re just trying to be funny, but i wanted you to know that it comes across as jarringly ignorant to a lot of people. ‘cause maybe you didn’t realize, y’know? but now you know.
sincerely,
a bi-racial bro
is this legit?
This is legit. My husband, sitting across the room, looks over and says, “IS THAT SOMEONE SHOWING HOW TO CONVERT ENGLISH TO TENGWAR? BECAUSE THAT’S THE WAY!”
Believe this man. He owns atlases of Middle Earth, the complete history of Middle Earth (leatherbound), and has read the books at least 150 times. Also: speaks elvish.
Yes.
What if there are two vowels in a row?
Does anyone know the answer to that last question?
